Vault Teller

Summary

This position is responsible for the daily management of the park’s vault and bank deposits by performing the following duties;

 

Job Duties

  • Ensures accurate and safe money handling procedures.
  • Ensures bank deposits are processed daily and coordinates bank deposit pick-up with armored car company.
  • Issues daily report of cashier’s cash or credit overages and shortages and provides to department managers.
  • Coordinates bank floats for cashiers.
  • Maintains daily log showing overage or shortage of deposit based upon POS Drawer Summary Report. Notifies General Manger of all cash and charge overages and shortages.
  • Tracks all employees with cash or credit overages and shortages
  • Balances POS credit card report to Batch Report daily in excel spreadsheet.
  • Handles all change orders.
  • Ensures copies of deposits are faxed to corporate office daily
  • Tracks and maintains inventory levels of all wristbands and money handling supplies.
  • Handles all requests from office on any returned checks or charge backs.
  • Assists Department Manager with back office administrative tasks.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Position may require flexibility in hours and days worked and include some weekends or evenings.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
